Activities

Under the relief Activities, Mission helps people in various ways. A poor widow, Kamala, with her four children of the village Dumali Khurd under Buhana Panchayet got her much needed shelter when a one room house was constructed for her by the Mission. It was handed over to her at a function held at the village on April 29, 2009. We shall start distribution of milk among poor and small children of the locality from June, 2009.

Year 2009-2010

Mission gave 193 blankets.

Year 2007-2008

Mission gave 100 blankets, 196 coats, 180 full Pants and 1 wollen Chadar to the poor villagers of Khetri and Jasrapur.

Year 2006-2007

Pecuniary help of Rs 9163/- were given to 36 persons.
Relief work : In 2010, Dilwar Khan, an orphan disabled boy of village Prapurna (Teh. Khetri) became homeless when his home gave in due to heavy rainfall in the last monsoon. A new house has been built by Ramakrishna Mission, Khetri on the ruins of his old house and handed over to him before the onset of winter on 15th November, 2010.

During devastating flood in the districts of Barmer and Jaisalmer on August 2006, the Mission did relief work for 3000 families.

Mission gave 6000 blankets and 3000 tarpaulin sheets, with the help of Ramakrishna Mission Belur Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Jaipur.
