Free Cataract Screening in Khetri
Free Cataract Screening Camp Ramkrishna Mission, Khetri, supported by a team of doctors and paramedics of National Society of Prevention of Blindness, Delhi have organized cataract screening camp for the rural patients in Babai, Basai and Khetri from 18th Sept, 09 to 19th Sept, 09. The team screened about 400 patients out of whom 130 patients have been identified for cataract surgery. Surgery will be performed at Khetri in the month of October, 2009.
Ozone Day September 16, 2009 has been observed as Ozone day in Ramakrishna Mission, Khetri with the help of Forest Department of Rajasthan Government. Around 300 students of various schools of Khetri came to the Mission by making a colourful rally. A few students received prizes for drawing posters relating to environmental awareness.

Extra Bookstalls during Navratri
Temporary bookstalls of Ramakrishna Vivekananda and Vedanta Literature have been put up in Khetri and Pilani in the community worship places of Mother Goddess during Navaratri Festival
Milk & buiscuit distribution to poor children of Khetri
Milk & buiscuit distribution to 50 poor children of Khetri has been started from June 21. The distribution is scheduled to run through out the year in the morning from our dispensary building.

Free Health Checkup by Apollo Hospitals in Khetri
On 8 June, 2009, a Heart Check up Camp was organized at the Charitable Dispensary premises of Ramakrishna Mission, Khetri in collaboration with the Global Health Medicity c/o Indrapastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. Cardiologists, ECG technician, Echo Technician of Dr Naresh Trehan & Dr Ravi Ratan Kesaliwal team have done ECG, 2D echocardiography & consultation about the heart diseases of 43 patients in total from 12noon to 5 pm. One 18 yr old poor girl was diagnosed having congenital ASD for which she will have to undergo cardiac surgery costing about 2-3 lakh rupees. Three patients were diagnosed to have mitral valve prolapse. Two to four patients will have to undergo various further cardiac tests namely hotler monitoring, stress echocardiography, computerized treadmill test (CTMT). Visiting guests were introduced to Swami Vivekananda’s relations with the late Raja of Khetri, Ajit Singhji and presented with some literatures of Swamiji.
Recently a convention of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Bhavaprachar Parishad of Rajasthan was held in the centre. Representatives of nine private centres from different places of Rajasthan took part in the convention. A youth convention was held on 25 April, 2009. A devotees’ convention was held on 26 April in which about 200 devotees of different parts of Rajasthan and Delhi took part. Swamis Brahmeshanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Chandigarh and Nikhilatmanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Jaipur addressed the gathering. Apart from spiritual discourses, Question-Answer session, Religious drama and devotional songs by eminent artists marked the occasion.
